The “Deep and dark web” spans a huge range of potential sources; marketplaces, closed forums, messaging apps, and paste sites etc. Gaining access to these sources can be extremely powerful. However, monitoring these sources is challenging, and only few solutions have the sophisticated coverage do so.
The 5th edition of ‘Hac’KP’ is a hackathon with a unique goal - To support the society in keeping them safe from Cyber criminals! Hac’KP aims to provide a common platform for the programmers, designers and inventors to come together to code, design and build pioneering solutions, for the Police and to effectively handle the evolving real-world threat landscape.
Our selection process this year will aim to identify result-oriented individuals with intermediate to advanced skillset, who enjoys building innovative solutions. Our skilled mentors will provide them adequate directions and support to equip them with knowledge, resources, opportunities and conflict management.
The Competition
This edition of the hackathon is not just a competition with multiple goals but also will be a community-based initiative of highly motivated personnel working with a goal to build a single application. Our focus will be to hand pick individuals who has a will to work with us in building a robust solution based on the current requirements of our Police in fighting crimes inside Darknet.

The objective behind this distinctive program is, to provide socially committed Tech Geeks an opportunity to collaborate with the community to build state-of-the-art solutions that can enhance the ‘Cyber well-being’ of the society.
Hac’KP aims to build a single application that can handle various requirements of the law and order organizations while working in the realm of Darknet. The vision of Hac’KP is, to enable opportunities for the law and order establishments to join hands with socially responsible individuals to design and build innovative digital solutions for effective policing and ensure civil safety.

Let’s probe into the darkest side of the internet. It is said that the darkest nights produce the brightest stars and here, we the Kerala police Cyberdome have come up with an alternative methodology to scoop the brightest stars among the common man to lighten up the dark world. Today’s cybercrime attacks are now powered by supercomputers, AI and algorithms, which means attacks are constant and come at you in volumes that are unrealistic to cybersecurity solutions. Our aim is to produce solutions with outstanding technical force to fight back even the last bit of their presence.
Our theme "#Demystifying the Darkweb" aims to focus on collectively building a single, yet solid solution to demystify the Dark web!
